FIELD EXECUTIVE (VEGETABLE FARMING – CENTRAL JAVA)
Requirement:
- Agriculture graduate / diploma holder with a maximum of 2 years of experience Exceptional fresh graduates / diploma holders will be also considered
- At least 2 year(s) of working experience in the related field is required for this position.
- Preferably Staff (non-management & non-supervisor)s specializing in Agriculture or equivalent
- Knowledge of vegetable crop production and crop management
- Willing to live on the project site/near by town throughout the production process from field preparation to harvesting
- Must be fluent in Bahasa Indonesia and have a working knowledge of English
- Willing to be placed at Central Java area
- Full-Time position(s) available
Responsibility:
- Will be required to manage local farmers/farmer groups, work with the local administrative government bodies, source inputs, handle distribution of seeds, fertilizers and pesticides to farmers, manage inventory and keep records
- Ensure farm level adherence for company’s agronomy policies
- Experience of training and development of new employees
- Health and Safety qualification or demonstrable relevant experience
- To visit farms when problems, arising during the season, cannot be resolved by other means and mediate where possible
- To assess the standard of accommodation offered to participants. To make recommendations, with timescales, for improvements to accommodation and facilities where appropriate
- To ensure that correct pay rates are being paid and that all employers are aware of their obligations regarding holiday pay to scheme workers
- To arrange site visits as economically as possible, whilst ensuring the maximum number of participants are in place
- To visit potential new farms/businesses to assess their suitability for inclusion in the programs
- To maintain a balanced view of placements, employers and employees
